Welcome to my blog of whatnot & nonsense. XD

A small note: I've posted my collection of unfinished stories and the characters here. Some of the already posted contents are several years old and may be edited or revised in future without notice.

Contents of a Red Notebook

·         THE RED NOTEBOOK
A shared journal of four girls which contains fictional, or not so fictional, characters and incidents, blended to make real life experiences into something the writers could easily express themselves. But not all are imaginary. Some situations actually happened and are forever recorded in the pages of the RED NOTEBOOK for the sole purpose of humoring the writers and releasing their vindictiveness.

·         THE CONTENTS
Composed of dried up humor and deadpan comedy of three, plus One, friends who got fed up with everyone around, the rules restricting their human nature, and their usual view of life in black, white and shades of gray, hobbies and unnatural obsessions.
It is a compilation of made-up everyday living, so its basically a long confessions of nonsense and degradation of witless idiots who dared cross into wrong territory. Also written within are in-between exchanged conversations of the writers who didn’t want to be heard by all too eager ears.

·         THE HISTORY
Inspired by the “Orange Notebook” a group of fellow classmates started halfway through the first term of senior college. The gang, better known as the DEADBEATS in class, didn’t even pay any interest in it at first until they noticed these particular classmates acting up whenever the three of them, the Red Notebook’s very own authors, were anywhere near shouting distance.
Actions speak louder than words, and naturally the trio became curious.
Fortunately for them, the can read anything at a certain distance no matter how small the writing may be, and unfortunately for the classmates, they read enough through the pages to know what was going on.
The Orange Notebook was specifically a ‘Paper Chat’ version of these classmates who wished to discuss their thoughts in private without everyone having to know about it. These particular group was later referred to as the “Biatches Regime” by the trio.
Paper Chat was a popular and often used by female students in class, sort of passing notes while the teacher’s back was turned. Materials needed is a neat sheet of paper (or any will do) and your own pen. The paper is discreetly passed around and anyone can write whatever they wished.
What the Orange Notebook contained were Biatches’ personal opinions and criticisms of fellow classmates, the trio’s names were mentioned in majority. Their biggest mistake had been to in using the real names of their classmates in the said notebook.
Two months later, the Orange Notebook was lost. These certain group of classmates were in a state of nervous tension for several weeks as to the whereabouts of the notebook. It was, after all, missing on school grounds where anyone could have picked it up and read through the contents. All the trio did was… smile.
This was how the trio first started as well, and was later joined by an additional writer, hence the three friends plus One. Rants and Raves were written down on pieces of paper and were regretfully disposed off afterwards—too bad, there were interesting views that were worth it to be read over and over again—to prevent further investigation of curious onlookers.
So with the disappearance of the Orange Notebook, the RED NOTEBOOK was created, the contents all written in seemingly fictional happenings as cover-up of the actual incidents, and the characters identified in codenames. No real names are mentioned, and if there are, they are subtly hidden to protect privacy, or so believed.
And the last words from the RED NOTEBOOK authors…
“It’s payback time!”
